Thief!!

We've been experiencing some theft as of late. As you can see below....this guy has been stealing leaves from my peach tree all summer!

what would you call that Coby? An 8 pointer or is it considered 6?

Even though this thief was over summer, we've recently experienced yet another theft. This one a little more truthful and scary and I just don't have pictures to document. Craig has been traveling a ton lately and was most recently in Montreal Canada. He planned to visit our friends the Frattas, who now reside there, and was on his way there for lunch. He has to take taxis and just didn't have enough cash and the guy kept saying that his card machine wasn't working well. That is nothing new, Craig said that many taxi driver's card machine don't work well. However, this guy insisted that you have to use a code for the card and Craig was just in a hurry to see the Frattas and didn't see the signs. He went ahead and used his debit card because the machine wouldn't read his credit cards and the next thing we knew.....$800 was stolen from our account through some ATM's in Montreal. Visa had put a hold on the card recognizing that it looked like fraud. Thanks to Visa and Marriott, Monroe Bank and the help of the manager of the taxi company, we are getting our money back (except for the international atm fees). So it ends well. We only had to stress for about 2 hours before it was resolved. Needless to say, he won't be taking that card while he travels. The bank said that this guy has tried using the card at atm's everyday in the hopes that the card's hold will have been removed. Unfortunately for him, Craig's card has been cancelled and he'll be issued a new one soon. The story is more in depth than that, you just get the short story. In the end, it's happy and Craig said it was kinda cool playing investigator. (It was only cool once he was told he was getting his $$ back, otherwise, you would have a very CRANKY Craig.)
